What length skipping rope do I need?

How do I measure the correct length rope?
To find the ideal rope length, simply stand on the centre of the rope with both feet and pull the handles straight up. They should reach just up to your armpits. As you become more skilled at skipping, you might find that shortening the rope slightly helps enhance your technique!
Can I alter the length of my rope?
Absolutely! You can easily adjust the length of your rope in two ways:
- Wonder-Widget End Caps: Most of our ropes (excluding class-sets) come equipped with adjustable end caps, allowing you to shorten the rope to your perfect fit quickly and easily.
- Tying Knots: If your rope is a bit too long, you can simply tie one or more knots in the rope itself. This method not only shortens the rope but also adds a bit of weight, which some skippers prefer for a more intense workout.
